Jeff Reeter graduated from Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business in 1984. He lettered as a wide receiver on the football team, was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and Student Foundation Financial Affairs Committee. Jeff is also a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of Business.
In 1984, Jeff joined Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in Dallas and became a nationally recognized producer. On more than one occasion, he led the NMFN Dallas Office in production, was top ten in the South and a Forum producer. Soon Jeff assumed the operational leadership duties of the Dallas office and his Field Director ranked at the top of NMFN. In 1996, Jeff was appointed Managing Partner in Fort Worth and became the youngest Managing Partner in the system. In 2002 Jeff became Managing Partner in Houston in the largest undivided territory ever awarded.
Jeff co-founded Total BEST. for Life’s Success, a company based on Balance – Excellence – Service – Truth. BEST encourages people to live life by design not default. Much of his business and personal success is attributed to the system and principles of BEST. Jeff has frequently spoken and consulted in corporate America, on campuses and in a church environment.
While attending Baylor, Jeff met Cindy Schoolcraft, a tennis letterperson and Kappa Delta, and they married in 1987. The Reeters have three sons: Chad, age 13; Ryan, age 11; Cody, age 9. The family resides in Houston, Texas where Jeff is very involved in coaching youth baseball, basketball, football and soccer. Running, hunting and reading are other pastimes. Jeff is a deacon and teaches Adult Sunday School at 40,000 member Second Baptist Church. Jeff served on the 2004 NFL Sanctioned Super Bowl Breakfast Committee. He is currently Chairman of the Baylor University Development Council. In 2004 Northwestern Mutual Financial Network received Baylor’s James Huckins Medallion for contributions given in Mr. Reeter’s honor.
