Bill Pugh is the former president of Athletes in Action. AIA exists to boldly proclaim the love and truth of Jesus Christ to those uniquely impacted by sport worldwide by winning, building, and sending athletic influencers. Through athletic camps, international teams, and domestic teams made up of AIA staff, coaches, and athletes, the platform of sport serves to share the message of Jesus Christ to millions of men, women, and children around the world. This is accomplished through camps, sports clinics, and competitive games. These experiences also provide the opportunity to train and equip participating athletes and coaches for a lifetime of ministry. Athletes in Action is a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International, one of the world’s largest non-profit, interdenominational organizations.
