In 1995, Caz McCaslin founded Upward Sports, the world’s largest Christian sports league for children. Under McCaslin’s leadership, Upward has grown to more than 500,000 children playing in 2,600 multi-sport leagues in 46 states and 4 countries including more than 480,000 volunteers, coaches, and referees.

Including basketball, flag football, soccer and cheerleading, Upward develops young adults with an emphasis on teamwork, integrity, sportsmanship and respect. Every child is a winner regardless of the game’s score.

Caz is a motivator, strategist, and visionary and has helped shape student development across the U.S. and the world. Along with dedicating his life to helping people be their very best, he is active in his church, civic organizations, several boards and is the author of Every Child is a Winner.

McCaslin currently lives in Spartanburg, South Carolina with his wife, Leslie and three daughters, Lauren, Keighlee and Mari Caroline.
