Chairman of the House Budget Committee

Congressman Steve Womack, 61, was elected to represent Arkansas's Third Congressional District in 2010 and currently serves as Chairman of the House Budget Committee and is a member of the House Appropriations Committee.

Prior to his election to Congress, Congressman Womack served as the Mayor of Rogers, Arkansas, for twelve years and in the Arkansas Army National Guard for over thirty years, retiring at the rank of Colonel in 2009.

Steve is a member of the Arkansas Tech University class of 1979 and has been married to his wife, Terri, for over 33 years.  They reside in Rogers and have three sons, two grandsons, and a dog named Cooper.
