Josh Hankins is a seasoned transportation and logistics leader with more than 20 years of experience at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. He began his career while attending the University of Arkansas, starting in Corporate Driver Personnel before moving into fleet management roles across the Southeast. Josh later served in sales and operations leadership within J.B. Hunt’s Dedicated Business Unit, including a decade based in Dallas.
 
In 2017, Josh returned to Northwest Arkansas as Vice President of Operations for the West Region. He was promoted in December 2023 to Senior Vice President of Safety & Security, where he led enterprise-wide safety strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation efforts. Today, Josh serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for J.B. Hunt’s Integrated Capacity Solutions business, overseeing brokerage operations across 13 field offices and the corporate operations teams based in Lowell, Arkansas.
 
Known for his commitment to operational excellence and principled leadership, Josh has played a key role in driving performance, reducing risk, and strengthening safety culture across the organization.
 
Josh lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with his wife, Christina, and their two daughters, Maebry and Emilia.
